Brooke MartinAssistant Manager
Brooke has been working at Elk Creek Animal Hospital since 2014. She really enjoys making every fur baby and their owner feel like home as soon as they walk in the door. You will often see her doing different roles from the front desk, assisting in an appointment and doing paperwork in the back. In her free time you’ll catch her spending her time with her son, dog and fiancé.
Ethan YoderVeterinarian Assistant
Ethan Yoder has been a Veterinary Assistant at Elk Creek Animal Hospital since 2015. He is a native of Sioux City, where he graduated from East High School. Ethan has a Bachelor's degree in Cinema from the University of Iowa. His favorite thing about working at Elk Creek is getting the chance to help heal sick animals. In his spare time, Ethan enjoys hanging out with his cats and watching cheesy horror movies.
Maggie LopezVeterinarian Assistant
Maggie Lopez is a Veterinary Assistant from Sioux City. She is a graduate of Western Iowa Tech Community College. Maggie loves being around animals and learning new things every step of the way. When away from work she loves spending time with her 1 year old baby Leonardo and cuddling with her many dogs. She is also happy to be recently married.
Emily RiedyVeterinary Assistant
Emily Riedy joined the Elk Creek team in August of 2018. She was born and raised in Sioux City and currently lives in Sergeant Bluff. She loves that every day at the clinic is different from the last, and she gets to see an amazing variety of patients that come through the door. Emily was raised with lots of animals, and couldn't imagine her life without them!
Samantha ZellmerVeterinary Assistant
Samantha Zellmer has been a part of the Elk Creek team since July 2018. Originally from Arizona, she now lives in Sioux City with her husband and daughter. Samantha has loved animals her whole life, and now has six fur-kids of her own. She always strives to treat your pets like they were her own!
Ashley recently moved back to the Midwest after living in Colorado for a couple years. She grew up in Wood River, NE, but she has a lot of friends and family in the Sioux City area. Ashley got her degree in HR Management from Wayne State College, so she will be helping with HR duties at the clinic in addition to being a receptionist and furthering her training to becoming a Vet assistant. She has one cat named Carly, who has been her best friend for 10 years now! During her free time, Ashley loves to spend free time with her many nieces and nephews. She also enjoys watching the Huskers and Cubs play. When asked what she most looks forward to about working at Elk Creek, she said:
